Bees

We woke our two-year-old and asked how she slept.

"There were bees," she said.

"Bees? You saw bees?"

"Yeah. They were mean!"

It's the first dream she's ever shared. All we do for fun is walk. We sit in our apartment, or we walk and walk and walk. The bees have recently returned to their thrumming.
