Chicken paperwork

I was in a grocery store (which I haven't actually been in since 16 March), very early in the morning (about 5 a.m.), with almost no one else around. There was a lot of empty space, but still also quite a bit of food. My cat instructed me that I had to buy a certain brand of chicken, but I told her it was too expensive, and she'd have to settle for the cheapest one this time.
We got to the checkout stand, and after a few moments the cashier said, "I'm sorry, ma'am, but you'll have to submit the paperwork for your chicken later. The system can't find the part number."
I apologized for being stupid, and asked where I might find a part number on a chicken carcass. But she said not to worry, just give a complete description and some photos, and they'd figure it out.
I woke up then. It was 5:20 a.m., and the cats were anxious to have breakfast.
Note: Dreamer adds, βIt was a very powerful dream; I remembered the details perfectly even after going back to sleep. This has happened no more than a dozen or so times in my life.β
