Everything was more or less the same as real life, with stay at home orders and social distancing. My family decided they were going to break the rules and come to my house. They thought enough time had passed and the disease wasn’t real. When they got to my house, I had to tell them I was at risk because in this reality COVID-19 was spread through these flying insects that embedded themselves in your skin. I had one that had borrowed it’s way into my skin, on the back of my calf just below the knee. I told my family it had been there for a month but I didn’t have any symptoms yet so maybe I was ok.
