Infected

It was a very vivid dream that I forgot about for 2 days. In the dream I was disinfecting things at the store, cleaning like a crazy person, trying to make sure the shop was safe for customers. I had gloves and was protected, when I went to the next task I realized my feet were wet and something metal had cut a deep 2 inch into the side of my left foot and it was bleeding. I realized I had been infected doing my job. I was helpless and my work was for naught.. When I remembered the dream, then, It felt so much like a memory, I had to check my foot.

Note: Dreamer says, “I own a small retail business that sells packaged candy. Our permit is small grocery store, so we are allowed to be open. Still, I wrestle with whether the risk is worth being open. And I'm very anxious about people touching things in the shop.”
