Mourners

In my dream I was watching a news report about spring breakers not taking social distancing seriously enough. As I watched, an enormous horse-drawn hearse carrying multiple caskets, arranged and stacked on top of each other, with mourners sitting on either side, came slowly down the streets of New Orleans. To my horror, several students jumped on top of the caskets, intending to “surf” on them as a prank. The caskets and the students flew off the sides of the hearse, crashing through restaurant windows where people, all dressed in funeral attire, were eating. The caskets broke open, with dead bodies and splinters flying everywhere, exposing everyone to the virus. “What kind of sick person would even think of doing something like that?!” I thought just before waking up.
