I was in my grandmother’s house and my family and I were preparing and cleaning PPE and uniforms for the NBA. There were stacks and stacks of gowns, head covering, shoes covers, shorts, and jerseys. The PPE was not standard plastic-y materials though, it was heavy, silky nylon in beautiful colors. I was cleaning a stack of giant navy blue shoe covers and then some Phoenix Suns practice jerseys. As I swiped a jersey with a disinfectant wipe, Jimmy Butler (NBA star from the Miami Heat) walked in the back door to survey our work. He flashed me a grateful smile.
