Takeout

I dreamt that I had COVID-19. I was demonstrating symptoms (not the real symptoms), and I just knew that I had it. I hadn’t been tested and it didn’t seem like testing was even in the picture. When I told my immediate family (who I live with and am quarantined with), none of them believed me and accused me of lying for attention. I tried to isolate myself in my room so I wouldn’t get them sick, but they forced me to go in public situations. I just remember a feeling of deep panic that I would get others sick. Another vivid detail was that our entire fridge was filled with restaurant takeout. My mom kept stocking up on it because she thought it would last long enough to get us through the quarantine.
